Description: Sconce, oil lantern, brass, with brass reflector and brass cap on chimney, lighthouse pattern on either side of font. 15-1/2"H (to top of chimney cap) x 5" W x 6" D knob marked "KOSMOSBRENNER"

Significance: Period piece
Kosmos burners have been made since 1865. Made in Germany until the 1970's, they are now made in France. While we don't yet have a date for this item, it is certainly an interesting piece.
